"Ruslan" lautet der Eigenname, den das Konstruktionsteam von Antonov dieser Frachtmaschine gegeben hatte. Auf Grund ihrer Grösse musste man anfangs einen passenden Standplatz suchen, damit dieser "Riesenvogel" problemlos abrollen konnte. Die Maschine auf dem Foto wurde hier zur Probe quer auf der Ramp 2 abgestellt. Etwas später wurden dann die Sonderstandplätze S1 und S2 eingerichtet.

"Ruslan" is the proper name given by the construction team of Antonov to this freighter. On the base of its size the airport authority had to look for a matching stand, so that this "giant-bird" could unroll easily. So the aircraft seen on the photo was crosswise parked on the apron 2 as an interim solution. Later the special parking positions S1 and S2 were furnished for this case.
