• Am 10. Mai 1979 setzte eine Maschine vom Typ Boeing 707 (G-BFLD) zur Erstlandung auf der Strecke Maputo-Berlin an. Diese Linie wurde dann mit der Umbenennung in LAM-Linhas Aereas Mocambique im Jahre 1980 unter diesem Namen weiter bedient.

• It was on May 10th. in 1979 as the first regular flight between Maputo and Berlin was operated by this airline with a Boeing 707 (G-BFLD). This service was continued with the renaming into LAM-Linhas Aereas Mocambique in 1980.
