Mit der "Trident" 1E YI-AEA erfolgte am 05. Mai 1969 der Erstflug auf der Linie Bagdad-Berlin. Dieser wöchentliche Flug war eigentlich schon ab Mai 1968 geplant gewesen, jedoch konnte dieses Datum nicht umgesetzt werden. Die Flüge wurde bis 1988 mit einem Stop in Prag und Sofia aber auch einige Jahre als Direktflug durchgeführt.

Zahlreiche Frachtflüge fanden ebenfalls statt, wobei der letzte Flug dieser Art im April 1989 in SXF gesichtet wurde.

On May 05th. 1969, a regular line service between Baghdad and Berlin was inaugurated and flown with "Trident" 1E. Actually the service was already planned to start in May 1968 but this could not be moved. The flights were enforced until 1988 with a stop in Prague and Sofia but also offered as a direct flight for some years.

Additionally, numerous cargo flights took place with the last of this kind seen at SXF in April 1989.
