Nur vom 03. November 2003 bis 07. Oktober 2004 sollte die Ära "low-cost" von Berlin/SXF nach dem Flughafen Niederrhein/NRN mit V-Bird dauern.

Bis zu vier Mal täglich wurde somit nur ein knappes Jahr zwischen der Hauptstadtregion und dem kleinen Flughafen in der Nähe von Frankfurt/Main geflogen.
