Dieser Airbus A340 landete am 27. November 1998 in SXF aus Toulouse kommend und sollte ein Dauergast auf diesem Flughafen werden. Man sprach schon davon, dass er eine Flughafen Inventarnummer hätte bekommen können. Problematisch ist allerdings der Umstand, dass das europäische Klima nicht sonderlich zum Dauerabstellen von Flugzeugen geeignet ist und so war auch bei diesem Airbus ein hoher Wartungsaufwand von Nöten, um ihn in einem flugtauglichen Zustand zu erhalten.
