Nachdem Sun Express ihre ersten Boeing 737-800 in Dienst stellte, wurden die Maschinen der Serie -300 ausgemustert. Die TC-SUN ging dann am 19. Februar 2000 an Malev, wo sie später das neue Kennzeichen HA-LES erhielt.

With the delivery of the first pair of Boeing 737-800 to Sun Express, the old series -300 were taken out of service. The TC-SUN was delivered to Malev on February 19th. 2000 and finally got the new registration HA-LES.
