Air Inter came at first on a scheduled flight on behalf of Air France from Paris to Tegel.

From March 1978 until June 1979 the airline operated often the regular charter flights of Air Alpes to Paris.

Air Inter, usually active on french domestic routes only, was founded in 1954. On January 01st. 1996 the airline was renamed into Air Inter Europe and was took over through Air France in April 1997.
