  • British Caledonian Airways operated since 1971 occasional ad-hoc charter flights, mostly to London-Gatwick.

  • For a short period in summer 1975 one BAC 1-11 was based at Tegel to operate to Istanbul with immigrant workers.

  • A long distance charter flight to Accra was performed in January 1976.

  • In the following years only a few charter flights took place.

  • Since September 1971 British Caledonian Airways was the new name of Caledonian/BUA. The airline merged early January 1988 into British Airways.
